Focus your energy on the activities where your personal contribution yields the highest value. Learn to do a few things well and leave the rest to other people. As a manager learning proper delegation and good communication are vital skills to refine. Build a team and bring in talented people to help you and the organization reach its goals. Don't worry about being the most knowledgeable in all areas; it is not your job. Become a specialist.
