When you are faced with strategic or far reaching challenges, there is always the temptation to only involve those you like or simply those readily available when you have to make a critical decision. My suggestion is you bring in multiple perspectives among stakeholders like customers, partners, employees, thinkers and experts. Bring the most talented people you can find together to help you solve the problem.
