A goal without a deadline is not a goal but a mere dream. Put deadlines next to your goals and break them down into monthly, weekly and daily increments. If your goal is to make a certain amount of money or lose a certain amount of weight, break it down to weekly and daily targets. This way you can ensure you stay on course and celebrate the small victories along the way.
