We get so busy sometimes we lose perspective and forget what is important in life. Stop and smell the roses, absorb the taste of the food and listen to the world around you. It is simple yet so easy not to do. Be sure to schedule elements of pleasure in your daily activity. Take a lunch break with a friend. Stay a few hours extra and do some sight seeing when work forces you to travel. I had a boss who used to say: "Don't forget, it is all about work and pleasure!" So true!

Diligence, The Mother Of Good Luck
Seneca, the Roman 1st century philosopher said: "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." This is very insightful. To the casual observer it may look like a "lucky break" however, they don't see all the sweat and toil, all the practice hours that went into the preparation. Gary Player, the famous golfer puts it this way: "The harder I work the luckier I get." Prepare, work hard and luck stands a far better chance of finding you.

Resolve To Do What It Takes
Once you have decided on a goal or a target, determine the price, i.e. what you need to do (your actions) in order to get there. Then resolve to pay that price, i.e. to get done what needs to get done. Success often comes disguised in work clothing. Dig in and go to work. When you do this consistently on a daily basis, results must come. Resolve to do what it takes.

Work Your Objectives Every Day
Success often comes dressed in work clothes. If you expect to make it big, you must work toward your objectives every day! The ability to carry on, and self-discipline yourself when motivation is no longer as strong as initially, when you first made your decision and started out toward your goal, is the mark of a true champion. Without work, no victory!

Get Organized!
It pays to take a little time each week to prioritize and organize the tasks you have to get done. When you get organized it is easier to get your job done in the most efficient way. Decide a time slot for a review meeting with yourself every week and put it down in your calendar. Focus your priority on the most important stuff and then stick to your priorities. In other words; plan your work and work your plan.
